On the 30th of October 2024, the first large-scale demonstration of the POP-ART Project took place at the Spanish National Police School in Ávila.

The exercise, of unprecedented technical and organisational complexity, involved 25 members of ETRA I-D Technology, 4 members of ETRAIR and more than 100 police officers (including students of the academy), as well as 3 drones, a dronedetector and an antidrone system, 7 cameras deployed on the field by ETRA I+D, three bodycams, a police robot-dog (SIRA) and a sensor-equipped police car, all integrated and coordinated from an instance of the POP-ART platform that was running (following the highest security requirements) on the Spanish National Police Data Centre of the Canillas Police Complex.

The demonstration, which was attended by the CEO of Grupo ETRA, senior officers of the Spanish National Police – Ministry of Interior, European Commission DG HOME, observers from the French Gendarmerie and the Municipal Police of Madrid, was completed very successfully.
